Alexandre is a PhD candidate at Nord University in the Algal and Microbial Biotechnology division. He has studied biochemistry and molecular biology applied to cell signalling in plant/microbe/environment interactions at the University of Burgundy (France). Now, his PhD project aims to decipher the physiology, metabolic and molecular events in arctic snow-algae under various polar conditions.
