Daniela is a professor and the leader of the Biological Chemistry group and the Ecotoxicology and Environmental Monitoring groups at the University of Stavanger (Department of Chemistry, Bioscience and Environmental Engineering).
Her expertise includes the evaluation of both chemical and biological measurements, the application of molecular and biochemical methods to better understand the sub-lethal effects of contaminants on marine organisms, including the use of omics techniques (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics and metabolomics).
