Mabel Nabateregga is a PhD candidate at the Inland Norway University of Applied sciences (Blæstad) in the department of Agricultural sciences. She is pursuing a PhD in Applied Ecology and biotechnology. She has studied Plant breeding and Genetics at Makerere University (Uganda). Her PhD project aims at developing citizen science tools to facilitate and support crop breeding for climate adaptation in the Global South.
