Sachin is a PhD candidate at Nord University in the Faculty of Biosciences and Aquaculture (FBA). He completed his master’s degree from the Norwegian University of Live Sciences (NMBU), focused on poultry feed and nutrition. His PhD project revolves around exploring the mechanism behind the bioactive and anti-methanogenic properties of brown seaweeds using genomic and metabolomics techniques. Through this project, he will utilize the different seaweed species that are available in the coastal regions of Norway as a novel alternative feeding resource for sustainable animal nutrition and production.
