Stacy is a PhD student at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). She has a background in Molecular Biology, Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology, with a particular interest in Plant Genetics and Plant cell wall. Her previous experience includes crops genetics and breeding, characterization of mechanisms, underlying chloroplast development in barley (Hordeum vulgare L.). Her current project focuses on cell wall integrity maintenance mechanism in Arabidopsis thaliana, that might provide a better understanding of plant reactions to stresses, associated with climate change (such as drought).
