Daniela is a PhD student at Gothenburg University (Sweden), at the Department of Biological and Environmental Science. Her PhD project aims to provide new knowledge on the effects and acclimation mechanisms towards pesticides in freshwater algae, bacteria, and fungi. She works with both individual and community levels approaches, in lab and field studies, using a combination of chemical profiling, phenotypic endpoints, genomic and transcriptomic tools.
