Leah is a PhD candidate at NTNU at the department of Biology. Her PhD studies focus on plant cell death and communication in photosynthetic plants. She is interested in understanding the molecular mechanisms underpinning plant cell death activation and regulation. In particular she is studying extracellular ATP (eATP) as a death molecule and how it is involved in cell-cell communication during stress.
