Menghour was a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Chemistry, Bioscience, and Environmental Engineering at the University of Stavanger (UiS). In his project he synthesized microalgae biomass with potential antioxidants and extracted them for nutraceutical/pharmaceutical application in the context of the circular economy.
