Relindis is a PhD candidate at the Department of Biosciences, University of Oslo (UiO). Her PhD project is a collaboration between UiO, Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences (INNUniversity) and Graminor. Her research focus is to identify genetic and epigenetic mechanisms that regulate freezing tolerance thresholds in Woodland and commercial strawberry plants. Her project focuses on validating previously selected candidate markers and analyzing new potential markers for use in plant breeding programs aimed at generating cold tolerant strawberries.
