Rikke is an industrial PhD candidate at Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) and the LED technology company Photosynthetic. She aims to enhance energy use efficiency in controlled environment agriculture through experimenting with various lighting strategies. The main focus is to optimize the light spectrum in order to balance light use efficiency, LED energy usage and crop quality in leafy green vegetables.
