About

Sara Pastacaldi is a master student in Biology at UiT – The Arctic University of Norway. Her thesis project focuses on how different snow regimes affect plant community composition in the High Arctic. She collected data from a long-term snow manipulation experiment in Adventdalen, Svalbard, which uses snow fences to alter snow depth. This study aims to predict how Arctic tundra vegetation might change in response to climate change and altered precipitation patterns.
