Welcome to our next webinar. This time with the Norwegian Centre for Organic Agriculture (NORSØK). Vice director of NORSØK, Cecilie Løkken will present NORSØKs projects and collaboration opportunities.
The private, independent foundation NORSØK is a national centre for the development of organic agriculture through interdisciplinary research and outreach. NORSØK also manages an organic farm. Their work is based on the four principles of organic agriculture: health, ecology, fairness and care. NORSØK and the farm are located in Tingvoll in Møre og Romsdal county.
NORSØK contributes knowledge for increasing the sustainability of agriculture and society. Their staff covers a wide range of expertise, and provides a broad range of research, consulting and outreach services. NORSØK’s main areas of expertise are organic agriculture and food production, environmental science, sustainability and renewable energy. NORSØK currently has a staff of 27 employees.
