We encourage all our members to expand and develop their networks.
As a pilot, we are now announcing grants for lab or field exchanges within our Norwegian partner institutions. You can apply for up to 25.000 NOK for the year 2026 or 2027 (also retrospective in 2026 if you already have done an exchange stay without funding).
The leader group decides who receives the grants.
The grant can only be applied for by our PhD members.
How to apply and get reimbursed
Step 1: Apply to Photosyntech for a lab/field exchange grant
Step 2: Book and cover your costs
Once the grant has been approved you have to book your travels and cover your costs. You will get reimbursements after the exchange.
- Save all tickets receipts and boarding passes for the reimbursement process.
Step 3: Submit a claim for reimbursement
After the lab or field exchange, you can do the travel claim in two ways (Sunniva, the coordinator, will guide you more in detail one to one):
Either; deliver your travel claim in your institution and ask an economy advisor to invoice the amount. Or; you can deliver the travel claim through UiT (the administrative site for Photosyntech).
You can only get reimbursements if you have an approved application.
