Martine Hennig is a PhD candidate at Civil and Environmental Engineering NTNU with an MSc in Natural Resources Management in biology. Her MSc research investigated the effects of different topsoil translocation strategies at a road construction site on plant species survival. Her PhD research focuses on the environmental impacts of infrastructure development, combining life cycle assessment (LCA) with studies of vegetation and soil responses to topsoil translocation and ecological restoration in forest, grassland, and peatland ecosystems.
