Sara is a PhD student at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. She participates in the study of drought stress perception in the model organism Arabidopsis thaliana. Before her PhD studies, Sara completed the BSc and MSc degrees in molecular biology at the University of Padua, Italy. During her MSc, she worked on the analysis of salt stress response and calcium signaling in Arabidopsis at the Martin Luther University in Halle (Saale), Germany.
