Yogesh is a PhD candidate in the Soldeling i Landbruket (Solar Sharing in Agriculture) project at the Department of Plant Sciences, NMBU and the Department of Electric Energy, NTNU. He has an academic background in electrical engineering with research experience at the intersection of agriculture and solar energy engineering, focusing on modelling and simulation of agrivoltaic systems. His PhD research investigates solar sharing in agriculture and the development of agrivoltaic systems in the Norwegian context. His work aims to develop an integrated modelling framework for agrivoltaic systems, evaluate the interactions between crops and the photovoltaic PV panels and explore the integration of agrivoltaics into the Norwegian energy system.
