FjordAlg is looking to strengthen its team in Årdal with a Process Engineer. We are looking for someone who is passionate about solving practical and theoretical problems and who wants to help us establish industrial-scale production of natural astaxanthin from microalgae.
As part of a small team, your contribution will make a significant difference to progress across a wide range of disciplines, including biochemistry, chemistry, microbiology, instrumentation, production equipment and control systems, as well as in the establishment of a factory for the future. To succeed together, you will need drive, the ability to learn, an analytical mindset and strong collaboration skills.
FjordAlg is well on its way from start-up to scale-up and needs more people on the team who can help take the organisation to new heights.
Qualifications
- Higher education in process engineering, biotechnology, chemical engineering or a related field
- Programming skills, for example Python, MATLAB, ladder logic or FBD
- Education or experience in biotechnological production
- Experience with industrial production equipment
